This 4 days safari takes you to 3 different destinations in Rwanda and Uganda. You will have a city tour on the first day and later travel to volcanoes national park for golden monkey tracking. You will then cross the border to Uganda for Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest national park.
Itinerary
Day 01 :
Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes NP (Rwanda)
- Morning: Briefing with your guide at your hotel
- Kigali city tour including:
- Kigali Genocide Memorial
- Kimironko Market
- Lunch at a local restaurant
- Afternoon: Drive to Volcanoes National Park
- Overnight: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge
Day 02 :
Golden Monkey Tracking + Transfer to Bwindi (Uganda)
- Early breakfast, then head to park headquarters for registration & briefing
- Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes NP (2–5 hours)
- 1 hour with the golden monkeys – viewing & photography
- Meet your guide and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda (2–3 hours)
- Overnight: Four Gorillas Lodge
Day 03 :
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Breakfast, packed lunch provided
- Morning: Report to park offices for registration & briefing
- Gorilla trek through Bwindi (2–6 hours)
- 1 hour with the mountain gorillas – viewing & photography
- Return to lodge for relaxation
- Optional: Visit the Batwa (Pygmies) after the trek
- Overnight: Four Gorillas Lodge
Day 04 :
Drive Back to Kigali
- Relaxed, lazy breakfast at the lodge
- Scenic drive back to Kigali through rolling hills
- Lunch in Kigali
- Drop off at your hotel or Kigali airport
