Itinerary
Day 01 :
transfer to volcanoes national park
- Pick up from hotel or airport
- Scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park – rolling hills and mountain landscapes
- Afternoon arrival – check in, then lunch
- Afternoon visit to the Dian Fossey Museum
- Return to lodge for dinner & overnight
- Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Day 02 :
Gorilla Trekking
- Early breakfast – packed lunch provided
- Drive to park offices for registration & briefing
- Assigned to a group and a ranger guide
- Gorilla trekking (2–6 hours)
- 1 hour with the mountain gorillas – viewing & photography
- Return to lodge for relaxation
- Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Day 03 :
drive to Lake Kivu
- Breakfast, then drive to Lake Kivu (one of Rwanda's most beautiful lakes)
- Afternoon arrival – lunch
- Optional: Boat ride on the lake
- Or: Relaxed afternoon enjoying the lake views
- Overnight: Hill View Hotel Kivu
Day 04 :
drive back to Kigali
- Lazy breakfast and late check-out
- Drive back to Kigali
- Lunch en route
- Evening arrival – drop off at your booked hotel or at the airport
