3 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA TRACKING FROM KIGALI

This 3 days safari begins and ends from Kigali. This is designed for people who do not want to drive long distances but would love to track gorillas in Uganda. You will cross the border of Uganda and Rwanda on your way to the gorillas and back where you will get to experience 2 countries in a few days on a single trip. Whether you have a meeting or attending a conference in Rwanda, this is suitable for your short day offs.

Day 1: pick up and transfer to Bwindi

One of our guides will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Kigali and drive you to Bwindi impenetrable forest a journey of about 4 hours. You will drive through beautiful and rolling hills and landscapes both in Rwanda and in Uganda. You may have different stops for photo moments and later have lunch along the way. You will then proceed to the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight stay:

Day 2: gorilla tracking and drive back to Kigali:

After breakfast in the morning the lodge will provide you with packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park offices for registration and briefing after which you will be assigned a ranger guide and a group. You will then begin your journey to the forest in the quest for the mountain gorillas. .on finding the gorilla family, you will be allowed 1 hour of viewing and photographing these gentle giants. The trek takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the last location of the gorillas. After the trek, you will then drive back to the lodge for relaxation

Option: you may visit the Batwa (pygmies) after the gorilla trek.

Day 3: drive back to Rwanda

Have a relaxed and lazy breakfast from the lodge and later you will drive back to Kigali through rolling hills with great views. Lunch in Kigali and later be driven to your hotel or at the airport.
