This short budget safari takes you through Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife viewing and chimps in the Kyambura gorge the valley of apes. Through the beautiful hills designed with green banana plantations and green tea plantations we descend to Queen Elizabeth national park ready for our wildlife experience with great encounters of animals like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, warthogs and waterbucks among others. We shall then head for our chimps experience in the scenic Kyambura Gorge and more scenic features around the park.

DAY1; Transfer from Kampala to queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early, enjoy a morning breakfast from the hotel or residence after which you will be picked from there by your guide who will brief you and you embark on the 6 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth. Along the way you will have your first stopover at the Equator where you will have your photo moments. You will embark on the journey to the west through Mbarara where you will have a lunch stop. After lunch, you will drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, tea plantations, forests and other beautiful natural features. Reach the park in late afternoon and have a game drive as you drive to your lodge. Check in at the lodge and prepare for an evening game drive through the Kasenyi plains or Mweya peninsula. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 2: game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up early morning for breakfast and then after drive to the park for your early morning game drive. The early morning game drive is a chance to search for the early grazers and mostly the big cats which are always active early morning and late evening. Some of the animals are likely to see include the leopard, lion, buffalos, elephants, waterbucks and more others. This morning game drive takes about 2-3 hours depending on what you see. You will then drive to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.
After your meal, you will drive to the boat, and embark on your boat cruise activity which takes 2 hours. With our professional boat guides, you will start your tour to which you expect to see aquatic animals like hippos and crocodiles. You may also see herds of elephants and buffalos that come to the channel to quench their thirst and take a bathe. After the boat, you may decide to rest at the lodge or visit crater lakes around the park and have sunset moments with great views. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: Chimp tracking and crater lakes
Wake up to your served breakfast, then join your guide who will drive you to Kyambura Gorge for a briefing and chimp experience. You will be briefed by a park ranger guide who then will lead you to the forest in search of the chimps. On spotting the chimps, you are allowed interaction with them for one hour while you learn their behaviors and take photos. We shall then head back to the lodge for hot lunch as we prepare for the late afternoon walk/drive to the crater lakes.

DAY 4: transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Kampala through beautiful landscapes with nice views. You may have another stopover at the equator for lunch and souvenir shopping and proceed to Kampala.
