4 days mountain gorillas and Lake Kivu

This safari takes you to volcanoes national park for gorilla tracking and Lake Kivu for relaxation from the magnificent jungle of apes, you will have a relaxation on the lake with stunning and breathtaking views.

Day 1: Transfer to volcanoes national park

Your guide will pick you up from the hotel or airport and drive you to volcanoes national park through the beautiful landscapes designed by the rolling hills and mountains.  You will reach the hotel in time for lunch and have an afternoon visit to Diane Fossey museum.  Return to the lodge later for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: gorilla tracking

Wake up to your served breakfast and after you will be handed your packed lunch from the lodge. Your guide will drive you to the park offices for the registration and briefing after which you will be assigned a group and a ranger guide to take you through the experience. The activity normally takes between 2 to 6 hours of trekking where you will be assigned 1 hour of viewing and photographing these animals after you find them. After the trek, you will drive back to the hotel for relaxation as you prepare for the next day.

Day 3: drive to Lake Kivu

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Kivu which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Rwanda. You will reach in time for lunch and later take a boat ride on the lake or just have a relaxed afternoon as you enjoy the views.

Day 4: drive back to Kigali

Have a lazy breakfast at the lodge and a late check-out as you prepare to leave Lake Kivu and head back to Kigali. Lunch en-route and reach later in the evening. You will be dropped to your booked hotel or to the airport depending on your arrangement.
