12 days Rwanda and Uganda safari:
This safari joins 2 countries of Rwanda and Uganda at the best, you will visit Rwanda volcanoes national park for the golden monkey tracking and after you will cross to Uganda for gorillas in Bwindi forest national park, chimps in kibale forest national park and wildlife in Murchison falls national park and Queen Elizabeth national park.
Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to volcanoes national park
You will start your tour with a briefing from one of our guides who will meet you at the hotel and then later drive you to Kigali where you do a city tour to some of the cites such as the Kigali genocide memorial, kimironko market and later have lunch preferably in a local restaurant. After lunch you will then drive to volcanoes national park.

Day 2; golden monkey tracking and transfer to Bwindi
After an early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for registration and briefing after which you will be assigned a group and a ranger guide who will take you through the experience. The trekking experience takes about 2 to 5 hours and locating the golden monkeys, you will have 1 hour of interaction with them while taking photos and viewing. After you will meet your guide again and drive to Bwindi which is about 2 to 3 hours’ drive.

Day 3: gorilla tracking
After breakfast in the morning the lodge will provide you with packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park offices for registration and briefing after which you will be assigned a ranger guide and a group. You will then begin your journey to the forest in the quest for the mountain gorillas. .on finding the gorilla family, you will be allowed 1 hour of viewing and photographing these gentle giants. The trek takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the last location of the gorillas. After the trek, you will then drive back to the lodge for relaxation
Option: you may visit the Batwa (pygmies) after the gorilla trek.

Day 4: drive to Ishasha
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. This sector is popular for the tree climbing lions. You will reach early in time for lunch and later drive to the park for an afternoon/evening game drive in search of the tree climbing lions on a lucky day. Other animals that can be spotted include topis, kobs, elephants, buffalos, warthogs and sometimes hyenas and leopards.
Day 5: morning game drive in Ishasha and transfer to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park:
Wake up early in the morning for a short game drive in the park in search of early browsers and grazers, without forgetting that most carnivores are also still active early in the morning such as hyenas, lions and leopards. This may take about 2 hours and after you will drive northwards to the other sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Reach in time for lunch and later you will have an evening game drive in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 6: morning game drive and boat cruise
You will wake up early in the morning to have a game drive in the park since most animals are active early in the morning before sunrise. You may have breakfast at the lodge or go with packed breakfast. While in the game drive, look out for animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, kobs, buffaloes, warthogs and many more. However kindly note; that you may not see all the mentioned animals in the park. The game drive takes about 2-3 hours depending on the sightings of the day. You will later drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the boat cruise in the afternoon. The boat cruise takes you on the kazinga channel where you expect to see more animals and birds especially aquatic animals such as hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds such as fish eagles.

Day 7: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
You will have breakfast at the lodge and later transfer to kibale forest national park. You will reach kibale in time for lunch and later have a community tour in bigodi village. The community tour takes you to different homesteads where you are able to experience the local way of living in the community. You will later drive back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 8: chimp tracking:
After your breakfast, your guide will drive you together with packed lunch to the briefing point. You will arrive in time to register and attend a briefing about the whole activity after which you will head to the forest. Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat while trekking through the forest following their tracks and learning more about their lives, you will then be awarded one hour with the chimpanzee and this will be your opportunity to take photos, learn and get to know more about these apes. After tracking you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner

Day 9: transfer to Murchison falls national park
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive north to Murchison falls national park. You will pass through kabarole district where you will be stunned by the views of the tea plantations along the way. You will also have great views of Lake Albert on your way. You will have lunch on the way and later proceed to the park. You will then do a game drive as you continue to the lodge

Day 10: morning game drive and boat cruise
Wake up early morning for breakfast and then join your guide for a morning game drive in the park. Starting the game drive early gives you enough chances to spot the early grazers and hunters. On a lucky day you are in position to spot lions, leopards and hyenas. Other animals that can be spotted include giraffes, hartebeests, elephants, kobs, oribis and buffaloes among others.
The game drive takes about 3 to 4 hours and after you will drive back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will drive to the jetty for the boat cruise experience to the bottom of the falls. On the boat, you will be able to see the bottom of the Murchison water falls on a different angle in addition to the animals such as hippos and crocodiles that you may encounter on your way.

Day 11: game drive and top of the falls.
Murchison falls national park is the largest national park in Uganda and that why we consider giving you extra game drive experience to go through different game tracks in the park. So again you will go for another game drive to widen your chances of spotting more wildlife. After the game drive you will have lunch at the lodge and later check out to your next lodge in the park you will then visit the top of the falls and have a sunset experience with the view of the falls and the river nile. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation

Day 12: transfer to Entebbe via ziwa rhino sanctuary
After breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to ziwa rhino sanctuary which is about 2 hours from the lodge. While at the sanctuary you will be able to walk close to look for the rhinos. The activity takes about 1 hour and then you will embark on your journey to Entebbe for your flight.
